Mrs. Veva Lee Parsons Reliford of Somerville, Alabama; passed away in the early hours of Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the age of 79 years.
Mrs. Reliford was born on March 5, 1941 in Morgan County, Alabama to the late Louis G. West Sr. and Delia Childers West. Mrs. Reliford was a simoplistic woman and loved the little things in life such as; tending to her flowers, cooking, word puzzles, going on adventures, eating sweets and most of all spending time with her family. She was a member of the Morgan City Church of God for over 50 years.
Mrs. Reliford will be forever remembered by her beloved husband of 13 years, M.C. Reliford; sons, Malcolm Parsons (Donna) and William Thomas “Tommy” Parsons (Karen); daughters, Rose Parsons Royster (Mitchell), Thelma Jean Parsons Morris (Mark) and a special daughter, Misty Parsons Williams (Shawn); 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents; Mrs. Reliford is preceded in death by 2 of her beloved great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel Funeral Home in Morgan City, Alabama on Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel Funeral Home in Morgan City, Alabama on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Roland Cornwell, officiating.
Pallbearers escorting Mrs. Reliford to her final resting place will include: Mark Morris Sr., Aaron Royster, Colton Royster, Daniel Royster, Cain Harvell, Mitchell Royster, Mark Morris Jr. and Thomas Parsons.
Interment will take place following services at the the Rescue Cemetery in Morgan City, Alabama.
Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel and Brindlee Mountain Chapel, Directing.
