Ms. Veronica (Bonnie) Allen, 58, of Madison, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013. Viewing will be Friday from 1-8 p.m. at Saints Funeral Home of Sheffield. Family hour will be 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be noon Saturday at The Revival Center Church of God in Christ, with entombment at Greenview Memorial Gardens. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Pastor Walter Johnson is officiating.
She was a native of Florence, Ala. and a former resident of Madison, Ala.
She is survived by her father, Mr. Earnest Scott, Florence, Ala.; son, Marcus Allen, Anniston, Ala.; daughter, Kristi Allen, Madison, Ala.; sisters, Alesia Allen, Montgomery, Ala., Tonika (John) Creekleaf, Richmond, Va., and Kimberly (Willie) Smith, Baton Rouge, La.; along with a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Willie Mae Lafity Scott.
