Vernus Smith, Jr. – Obituary

Mr. Vernus Smith, Jr., 79, of Decatur died on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at his residence. He was born June 9, 1936, in Haynesville County, Maine, to Vernus Leroy Smith, Sr. and Angeline Beatrice Brown Smith. He was a retired Staff Sargeant of the U.S. Army and was preceded in death by his wife and his parents. There will be no further services. The family was assisted by Peck Funeral Home.
