Vernon Slaton 85 of Horton passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Marshall Medical Center South
His Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Albertville Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 until 2 before the service. Bro. Chris Weaver will be officiating. Pallbearers will be James Hughes, Eric Jones, Willie Evans, Scottie Roberts, Gabriel Roberts, Dakota Roberts.
Mr. Slaton is survived by his Wife; Jeanette Slaton, Daughter; Norma Kritner, Chosen Son and Son-in-law; David Kritner, Son; Joseph Slaton, Grandchildren; Brandy Roberts, Rochell Evans, Leighanna Jones, Carolyn Slaton, Grayson Slaton, 7 Great Grandchildren, Sister; Betty Williams, Host of Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by his Son; Allen Slaton, Parents; Briggs and Retha Slaton, Brother; Melvin Slaton, Sister; Sarah Gobles.
