Vernon Lee Inman, 81, died Monday, November 14, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will follow Lynnwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Born November 8, 1941 in Nowata, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Oscar Inman and the late Beulah Couch Inman. After graduating from high school, he started in the cattle business. He met many people over the years all over the country. When Mr. Inman was not working, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, whom he married September 13, 1980, Joyce ‘Josie” Inman; children, Vernon “Two” (Karlee) Inman, II, Tammy (Dusty) Gaff, Trent (Ruth) Inman, Kristen (Stan) Alexander; grandchildren, Sage Inman, Cheyenne Gaff, Dakota (Ashley) Gaff, Fletcher Inman, Daxton Inman, Justin Inman, Cody Inman, Ty Alexander; great grandson, Bowen Gaff; and beloved dog, Shooter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelley Jo Inman; and son, Timmy Inman.
