Vernon C. Coosenberry, age 83, of Muscle Shoals, AL., passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2016 at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery. Brother Steve Smallwood will be officiating. Vernon was a member of East Colbert Church of Christ.
Mr. Coosenberry was preceded in death by parents, Isaac and Ella Coosenberry, and brothers and sisters.
Survivors are wife Sue Coosenberry; son, Greg Coosenberry (Lori); brother, Doyle Coosenberry (Aileen); sisters, Lily Dean Dickerson (Floyd), Ellen Spears (Willie), Bonnie Reeves (Kenneth) and Susie Landers; grandchildren, Megan Minor (Chad), Lindsey Bennett, and Issac Coosenberry; great grandchildren, five.
Pallbearers are William Crosswhite, Chad Minor, Adam Burch, Lynn Coosenberry, Buddy Landers, and Joe Coosenberry. Honorary will be Gordon Green.
