Ms. Verlon Jarvis Whitten, born on September 13, 1931, to the late John and Sally Jarvis, peacefully passed away on February 1, 2024. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Letitia Whitten Woodard, and son-in-law Michael J. Woodard.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Whitten is preceded in death by her beloved siblings Mauline Wright, John, Archie, and Arthur Jarvis. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will be remembered by all who knew her.
A Graveside Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Verlon Jarvis Whitten will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2024, at Marshall Memorial Gardens.
