Verline McAuley – Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Verline McAuley, age 84, are scheduled for 2 PM, Friday, April 15, 2015 at Fairview Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Fairview Church of Christ Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. McAuley passed away late Tuesday in Jackson. She was born June 23, 1931 in Henderson County to the late James Garfield Bledsoe and Elizabeth Arbie Doyle Bledsoe Beecham. She was a homemaker, a member of Fairview Church of Christ, and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and crocheting. She most enjoyed being a mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Bobby McAuley; one brother, Frank Bledsoe; two sisters-in-law, Kay and Ruby Bledsoe; and one great grandchild. Survivors include her five children, Billy (Camelia) Bledsoe, Ann Bledsoe (Kenny) Holman, Debora(Don) Lockard, Sheila (Gary) Collins, and Alice McAuley; her brother, James Bledsoe; her sister, Virginia (Jim) Tapp; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
