Verline Garrett Chandler, age 91 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away July 11, 2017. She was a hairdresser and a member of Bear Creek Church of Christ.

Visitation is Friday, July 14, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. – 12 noon at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service is at noon in the the funeral home chapel with Adam Faughn officiating. Burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Debra (Gary) Hood and Judy McGough; siblings, Linda (Willie) Gramley, Martha (Edward) Culp, Don (Eleanor) Garrett; sister in law, Dot Garrett; grandchildren, Dana (Chris) Saylor, Bruce (Tanya) Hood, Bradley (Lisa) White, Sherry Caldwell, Sherelia (Miles)Duncan, Sam (Amanda) McGough; great grandchildren, Sydney Saylor and Bryant Saylor, Titus Hood, Elijah Hood, Abigail Hood, Maegan Caldwell, Trent Caldwell, Will Caldwell, Mylan Duncan, Jace Duncan, Brody Dreher, Charlee McGough, Emmie McGough, Lola Duncan, Zeke Duncan, and Hudson McGough; great great grandchild, Callie Beth Hood.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Simmonett Wooten Garrett; husband, Bethel Chandler; daughter, Becky White; brothers and sisters, Curtis Garrett, Roscoe Garrett, Glenn Garrett, Lecil Garrett, Bernice Lattin and Dorothy Cagle.
