Verle Ray Hill, 81, of Hartselle passed away Thursday at a local nursing home.
Verle was a native of Cullman, AL and a resident of Hartselle since 1997. He was a retired MSGT with the U.S. Air Force with over 20 years of service. Verle was a member of the of the American Legion and was an active participant in the Church of The Nazarene.
Survivors include his daughter: Monica Prince of Hartselle; three sons: Danny Hill of West Palm Beach, FL, David Hill of Norfolk, VA and Nathan Hill of Hartselle; one sister: Johnnie Hester Hestla; one brother: Jimmy David Hill; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
