Mrs. Verla Patricia Staggs Dixon departed this life on Friday, August 4, 2017 at her home in Collinwood, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 7 Months, 20 Days. She was born December 15, 1947 in Grayson, Al., the daughter of the late James Hubert and Helen Virginia Haddock Staggs.
She was united in marriage to Harold Dixon on November 8, 1985.
Mrs. Dixon was a homemaker and a member of the Cornerstone Church in Collinwood TN.
She is survived by her husband Harold Dixon, sons, Shannon Dixon and Michael Dixon all of Collinwood, TN., daughter, Tanya Harshbarger, husband Troy of Decatur, Al., 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brothers, Larry Staggs of Decatur, Al, Dan Staggs of Collinwood, TN.
Services will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens , Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangemnets.
Visitaion will be on Sunday, August 6, 2017 5:00-9:00 pm, Monday, August 7, 2017, 9:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, TN.
