Vergie “Mimi” Elene Pelton, 86, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Sept. 29, 2012.
Visitation will be Tuesday Oct. 2, 2012, from 1-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2 in the chapel, with burial to follow at Bethleham Cemetery, Littleville, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margie David.
Survivors include her husband of 52 wonderful years, Lee “Pa” Pelton;
daughter, Kathy Miller (Gary Herrero);
grandchildren, Jason Miller (Kristy), Bryan Miller (Rachel), Kesley Miller, Cody Hampton, Cindy Bratcher;
great-grandchildren, Tiphani Bratcher, Brieana Miller, Baker Miller, Keeli Burt and Brooklyn Miller;
brother, Elbert Johnson (Mary); sister, Nell Bratcher;
a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Gary Herrero, Bryan Miller, Jason Miller, Cody Hampton, Andy Johnson, Danny Bratcher and Baker Miller.
Mrs. Vergie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Special thanks to Sandra and Kim with Gentiva Hospice for all the wonderful love and care given to my dear Mother and also for always having a comforting voice and answers, no matter what time I needed you, Sandra, you were there for me.
