Funeral for Verbon Waters, 89, of Decatur will be Monday, July 5, 2021, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 11:00 AM with David Waters officiating. Burial will be in Midway Memorial Gardens with Masonic Honors. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Mr. Waters, who died Friday, July 2, 2021, at his residence, was born, November 4, 1931, to Grady Waters and Eliza Shelton Waters. He was a member of Mt. Zion Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Daughters – Cynthia (Ray) Kirch, Janet (John) Howard
Sons – Wesley (Donna) Waters, David (Jennifer) Waters
Step-Daughter – Heather (Bobby) Elledge
Step-Son – Loyd (Sabra) Shaffer
7 grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Ray Kirch, John Howard, Dallas Eledge, Nolan Waters, Nathan Waters, Alex Waters.
