Vera Mae Crowson, age 84 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Friday, June 12, 2015. Visitation will be Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Funeral service will be Monday, June 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Leon Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Crowson is survived by her children, Terry (Carol) Crowson, Pamela (Johnny) Harris, Brenda Crowson and Beth Creech; grandchildren, Chandra (Dave) Wilson, Bryan (Rachel) Harris, Kristie Harris and Mark (Veronica) Harris; and great grandchildren, Noah & Owen Miles, Amanda Salter, Haley & Chelsea Harris and Chance & Brody Harris.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Lucy Salter; husband, Leonard Crowson; sisters, Gertrude Davis & Vergie Morton and grandchild, Tiffany Miles.
Pallbearers will be Tim Bridgeman, David Wilson, Bill Clark, Abe Edwards, Richard Nava, Anthony Harbin, Lelton Harris and David McMahan.
