Vera Lee Johnson, 84, of Tuscumbia, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2024, from 1:00PM until 2:00PM with the funeral service immediately following at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The interment will be at Cherokee Memorial Park.
Vera Lee Johnson, 84, of Tuscumbia, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2024, from 1:00PM until 2:00PM with the funeral service immediately following at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The interment will be at Cherokee Memorial Park.
Mrs. Johnson was a faithful member of Red Rock Church of Christ and served in multiple capacities for over 60 years with Landers Office Supply and Printers and Stationers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Bertha Hester; sisters, Evelyn Smith, Leona Hester, Betty Sue Hester and Glenda Manasco; and brother, John W. Hester.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband of 64 years, Pat Johnson; son, Patrick Wayne Johnson; brothers, Bob Hester and Cecil Hester (Faye); sisters, Elaine Oaks and Gala Mitchell (Billy); a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Matt Hester, Mark Hester, Keith Hester, Don Johnson, Darryl Rutland, and Billy Burton.
