Vera Lee Goodwin, age 82 of Fort Payne, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Goodwin was born on September 27, 1938 to the late James & Jessie Benton Davidson in Tennessee.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, November 22, 2020 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with entombment following in the Mtn. View Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 noon until the 2 p.m. hour of service.
Mrs. Goodwin is survived by her children, Vickie Lee, Ricky Beavers, Dewayne Carter, Trena Helms; half-brothers, Kenneth Davidson and Jim Davidson; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Johnny Carter.
