Graveside service for Miss Vera Josephine “Vera-Jo” Goode, age 3 days, of Hillsboro, will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Midway Memorial Gardens with Bro. Mark Millwee officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.
Vera-Jo, who died Monday, March 27, 2023, at her home, was born Friday, March 24, 2023, to Deekota and Shelby Sims Goode. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Chris Sams. Our sweet angel was simply too perfect for this earth.
She is survived by her parents, Deekota and Shelby Goode; brother, Stetson Goode; sister, Paizlee Goode; grandparents, Dan & Melanie King, Missy & Pat Vest, and Jenni Sams; great-grandparents, Dalton Fagan, Scott McCulloch, Connie Summerford, and Marshall Goode; uncle, Justin McCary (Sarah); aunt, Shea Talton (Dylan); cousins, Locklin McCary and Eden Talton; and Uncle NealNeal, Summer, Alayna, Alyssa, Aleah, and a host of others who loved her.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
