Vera Evelyn Burke, 88, of Boaz, Alabama died Monday, February 29, 2016 at Golden Living Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Burke is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law Ricky & Mary Burke of Boaz and Terry & Sharon Burke of Boaz; daughter Mary Linda Burke of Boaz; brothers & sister-in-law E.L. & Joyce Mullinax of Albertville; sister-in-law: Ruth Mullinax of Aroney; sisters & brothers-in-law Agnes Holmes of Albertville, Faye & Bill Morgan of Boaz, and Jeanette & Wayne Bankston of Crossville; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband James Waymon Burke; daughter Janice Margaret Burke; parents Walter & Mary Ann Mullinax; and brothers Johnny “Sonny” Mullinax and T.W. Mullinax.
Pallbearers will be Jason Burke, Jabin Adams, Wayne Mullinax, E.L. Mullinax, Wayne Bankston, and Bill Morgan. Honorary pallbearers are the grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Family will accept flowers or in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Marshall County
