Vera “Diane” Watts, age 74, of Greenbrier, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted at 12pm Saturday, July 6th in the Austin & Bell Funeral Home chapel in Greenbrier with Pastor Kenny Peters and Deacon Steve Sorrells officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 10am until time of the service at 12pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Watts was born November 5, 1949, in Macon, GA, to the late James Thomas and Vera Walker Thomas. She was a homemaker and a member of Greenbrier First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Watts is survived by her husband of 52 years, Edward “Eddie” Watts; brother, Tom (Phyllis) Thomas; nephews, Steven Thomas, and Chris Thomas; and a niece, Kelsey White.
