Vera Dean Morrow Pharr, 95, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. She was born in Good Springs, AL to James Pervie Morrow and Sarah Lee Key Morrow. Dean’s life was a collection of chapters that told a story of dedication, love, and kindness. She and her husband, Esau Pharr, owned and operated Belmont Fabric Shop for over twenty years. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, gardening, reading her bible, and crocheting. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and attended The Church of God in Belmont.

Services will be Saturday, May 18, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Micah Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by  four children, Ricky Pharr (Deborah) Athens, AL, Gary Pharr (Katrina), Sara Tate and Lisa Pharr, all of Belmont, MS; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Graham, Dana Lynch (Donnie), Michael Pharr (Carol), Stephanie Sparks, Tiffany Pharr, Amy Pharr and Jacob Tate; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two grandsons, Stephen Pharr and Anthony Tate; two brothers, J.P. Morrow and Lloyd Roger Morrow and three sisters, Archiba Forden, Louise Pittman and Christine Whitman.

Pallbearers will be Chris Pharr, Jordan Davis, Cody Little, Bradley Graham, Chris Gentry and Terry Morrow. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
