Vera Annette “Net” Foster was born on December 30, 1958 to James and Margaret Foster. She grew up in Owens Cross Roads, AL and graduated from New Hope High School in 1978. For forty-four years, she worked sewing at various factories and cooking for Rosewood and Southern Estates Assisted living. She retired at the age of sixty-two and has spent the last two years reading books, watching Christmas movies, spending time with her family and friends, going to Senior Citizen Game Day at the Woodville Public Library, and enjoying life. She was diagnosed with end stage liver cancer on August 5th and fought valiantly for three months before the Lord called her home to be reunited with her family there on November 5th.
