Velma Wynetta (Collins) Owens

A visitation will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Funerals service will be at 3:00 PM in the Chapel. Brother Kenneth Suddeth and Brother Nisley will be officiating.
Velma passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 at the age of 89. She was born to Mack Vernon and Docia Suddeth Collins on February 9, 1934 in Winston County AL.
She devoted her life to taking care of her family and friends. She had a hunger to learn God’s word and enjoyed her study time of the Bible.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Price A. Owens; daughter, Donna William (Scott); treasured as a grandson, Drew Carrioza (Kasi) and many extended family and friends.
