Velma May Anderson, age 80 of Lebanon TN, passed away on November 30, 2024 surrounded by family. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Mike Drennon, is noon Thursday, December 5, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Rock Springs Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Charlotte TN, will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until noon.
Velma May Anderson was born to Willie and Pauline Lowe. She married Lester Anderson and over the next 62 years together, they had a home and raised 4 children. She is survived by children: Jeff Anderson, Danny (Kim) Anderson, and Randy (Vanessa) Anderson; grandchildren: Chesley, Brittany, Tyler, Wendy, Christy, James, and Tabetha; several great-grandchildren; sister: Bessie Reeder; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband Lester James Anderson, daughter Connie Haley, parents Willie and Pauline Lowe, step-mom Bessie Lowe, and siblings Ruby Lowe, Louise Haywood, Faye Anderson, and Willie Lowe Jr.
