Velma June Fowler Welch, age 85, of Cornersville, Tennessee, died Wednesday, August 21st, 2024, at her residence.
She was born August 7th, 1939, in Cornersville, Tennessee, to the late Otis and Knoxie Cochran Fowler. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Cornersville Church of Christ. She loved her flowers and playing with her grandbabies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hilyard Welch, and several siblings.
She is survived by one son, Troy (Tammy) Welch of Chapel Hill, one daughter, Vicki (Andy) Holt of Lewisburg, one brother, Cordell Fowler, of Cornersville, and one sister, Peggy Beard, of Cornersville, four grandchildren, Lucas (Anna) Welch, Anna Welch (Austin Connell), Jamie (Tarah) Holt, Rachel (Steven) Smith, and five great grandchildren, Brittian and Brooke Smith, Turner and Griffin Holt, Annistyn Welch.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, August 23rd, 2024, at 10:00 am from the Beechwood Cemetery with burial to follow.
There will be no public visitation.
