Velma Gay Brock, 75, of Houston entered into rest on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Brock was born May 5, 1945. Velma loved to cook and thought she had to feed everyone. She loved to garden, especially flowers, and loved her pool, four-wheeler, and her guns.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 1pm-2pm at Houston Baptist Church, where services will be held at 2pm. Brother Mike Walker and Brother Kenny Sudduth will officiate. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Velma is survived by her husband of 47 years, James Brock; daughters, Denise (Steve) Price, Lesia (Kenny) Melton, Stacey (Robert) Baughn; sister, Doris Amick; grandchildren, Samantha Price (Chance Sampson), Erin Baughn, Autumn Baughn, Brock (Leslie) Melton, Matt (Taylor) Price; great grandchildren, Lane Price, Lexi Price.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Vyvian Wilson; sisters, Jackie Waid, Joy Shipman, Beth Relston; infant brother, Denny Boy.
