Private Family Graveside for Vanessa Michele Winton Slaten, 62 of Somerville will be at New Friendship Cemetery with Geoff Halbrooks officiating and Peck Funeral Home Directing. There will be no Visitation. Mrs. Slaten was born May 20, 1962 in Morgan County, AL to Jack Evon Winton and Lucy Mae Moses Winton. She passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Decatur-Morgan Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents. Retired from Decatur-Morgan Hospital after 42 Years. Vanessa was a loving Wife, Mother, and Nana.
