Vallie F. Lepre, Jr. age 87 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Lepre was born July 17, 1930 to Vallie Francis Lepre, Sr. and Nolia LeBlanc Lepre.
Services will be Sunday, August 20, 2017 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bud White officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens in Decatur, AL.
Mr. Lepre was retired from Chrysler Corporation in Huntsville, AL. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy.
Preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Juyne Robertson Lepre; one son, Roger Vallie Lepre.
Survived by one daughter, Pam Barksdale and husband, Keith; one granddaughter, Ella Grace Barksdale; one grandson, Shane Lee Lepre; four sisters, Betty Lepre Maxwell, Beulah Lepre Oswald-Soto, Beverly Lepre Epling and Wanda Lepre David.
