Valerie Jotewatie Sharma, age 74 of Franklin, TN passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019. Valerie was born in Georgetown, Guyana on June 28, 1945, daughter of the late Prethipaul and Bhagoutie Nawbatt. She was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Nawbatt.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Churaman Sharma, son Parm (Dara) Sharma; daughter, Netrani Sharma (Mark) Mansheim; brothers, Ranny Narine Nawbatt and Deo-Narine Nawbatt; sister, Marjorie (Veeren) Muthuswamy; three grandchildren, Ari Elias Sharma, Aevan Amar Sharma and Ajai Elan Sharma.
The family will receive friends for a viewing from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM.
Memorials may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in loving memory of Valerie J. Sharma.
