Mrs. Vadie L. Rice, 94 of Rogersville, Ala. entered into Heaven Monday, June 3, 2013 at NHC HealthCare, Lawrenceburg, Tenn.
Services are Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 1 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, County Road 76 in Rogersville, Ala. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home, Athens.
Born October 26, 1918 in Lauderdale County, Ala. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church for 58 years. She was a Homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter Doris Grisham and husband Ray of Florence, Ala.; son Tommy Howell of Huntsville, Ala.; grandchildren, Michelle Roden, Michael Rice, Joe Rice, Benjamin Murphy; great-grandchildren, Tyler Rice, Michael Loyd Rice and Summer Roden; special friend Thetus Wright; one niece; and one nephew.
