Vada Elizabeth Jones Wright was born October 27, 1926 in Wayne County, TN the daughter of the late Marshall A. and Flora Mae Copeland Jones. Miss Wright worked many years as a social worker for Harbert Hill Academy Nursing Home, worked in home health, and was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Miss Wright departed this life on August 22, 2021 in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 94 years, 9 months, and 26 days.
She is survived by a son, James Marlon Wright of Chattanooga, TN; a sister, Junita Reeves of Cherokee, AL; four grandchildren, Laura Jean Crouch, Michelle Elkins, Jerimiah Seth Wright, Constance Wright; and nine great grandchildren, Cody Lane Crouch, Ryan Crouch, Ethan Crouch, Austin Dodd, Haley Elkins, Kayden Elkins, Alissa Wright, Bryan Pounders, Ricky Dale Pounders.
In addition to her parents, Miss Wright was preceded in death by two brothers, Warren Jones, Marshall C. Jones; and two sisters, Nellie Mae Berry of Florence, AL, Ova Jean Jaynes.
