Uriah Samuel Ary, 27, of Leighton, died Monday, August 20, 2018. Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.
Uriah was a native of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He attended Colbert Heights Elementary and High Schools. He was employed with the Times Daily.
Survivors are his mother, Sue Hall Rodrigues; father, Robert D. Ary; stepfathers, Leon Hornbeak and Christopher Rodrigues; daughter, Mariah Kylee Ary-Morales; brothers, Daniel Ary, Gerald Skjelstad, Jurel Hornbeak and Jaren Hornbeak; sisters, Tara Gardner, Sara Skjelstad, Jennifer Bailey, Megan McGee and Jurnee Hornbeak; aunts, Alice Riddle, Terry Yancey, Angela Mayfield and Linda Saavedra; and uncles, Tony Luis Saavedra and Thomas Griffin.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Manuel Neal Saavadra and grandparents, Norma and Thomas Griffin, Eugene Ary and Lee Dodgins.
The furnace of your heart housed the deepest love. You willingly and freely shared it. You gave to all. We loved you in our lifetime. Our hearts break to watch you leave but you left us a kaleidoscope of beautiful memories to treasure for all time. Your work is done, how sweet the blessing. Earth bound no more, chains broke, now an angel of tranquility. Your unfettered feathers of flight, to be a guardian. Your spirit shall always grace us, calm us, and feed us with love forevermore.
