The Trees of Christmas, Dec. 2-24, Tennessee Valley Museum of Art, 511 N. Water St., Tuscumbia. A collection of 12-foot live Christmas tree decorated by artists and community groups using unconventional techniques is on display from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1-5 p.m. on Sunday. Cherokee Christmas Festival 1-6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, downtown Cherokee. Entertainment, arts and crafts, food vendors, horse and buggy rides, bake sale, face painting, and letter-to-Santa writing station.
Plantation Christmas, 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, Belle Mont Mansion, 1569 Cook Lane, Tuscumbia. Holiday event reminiscent of an old fashioned southern Christmas with traditional live decorations, period Christmas music, vintage ballroom dancing, and refreshments.
