FLORENCE – Officials with the University of North Alabama and Ouellette and Associates signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will benefit all Ouellette and Associates employees, which includes Long-Lewis Auto Group, seeking any online or on-campus, graduate or undergraduate degree from UNA. Further, the agreement highlights the opportunity for employees to take part in UNA’s New Start Scholarship program. Any Ouellette and Associates employee who enrolls in two courses will qualify, and the first course will be free.
“The agreement between Ouellette and Associates and UNA is a real benefit for our employees who want to advance their education,” said Tricia Cutshall, Vice President of Employee and Customer Relations at Long-Lewis Auto Group. “We’re Alabama’s oldest automotive retailer, and it is fitting we’d partner in this way with UNA, the state’s oldest four-year public institution.”
The agreement is effective immediately and will allow Ouellette and Associates employees to take advantage of all programs, both online and on-campus, as well as graduate and undergraduate, at UNA, while receiving a tuition scholarship to do so.
“UNA is proud to partner with Ouellette and Associates,” said Dr. Ross Alexander, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. “UNA provides robust resources that will benefit Ouellette and Associates employees now and for years to come, and this agreement further solidifies UNA’s role as the workforce development leader in Alabama.”
