FLORENCE – “Full Steam Ahead” is the name of the winning poster submission for UNA’s College of Arts and Sciences Career Week poster competition.
Career week will take place April 7 and April 10-13, with the theme “Moving Full STEAM Ahead.”
Senior Audrey Burton from Montgomery, Alabama, was the winner of the poster competition, which was developed for UNA students to display their talent and begin a tradition of making a piece each year that will be memorable and collectible to students, employees, alumni and friends.
Burns, who is majoring in Fine Arts with a concentration in sculpture, received a $200 gift certificate to the UNA Bookstore. She also had her work recognized during a public unveiling.
This is the first time Arts and Sciences has held the competition. Burton’s poster was chosen out of seven total entries and will serve as the official artwork for the 2017 COAS Career Week events.
