Tymoth “Wayne” Bunton, age 82, of Southside, AL passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel with visitation preceding the service from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Rev. Mark Harris will officiate with burial to follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.
Wayne attended Gadsden High School and later earned his degree at Gadsden State Community College and attended Lee Bible College in Cleveland, TN. He was an avid Alabama Fan, loved going to Gulf Shores and traveling. Wayne had a passion for blue grass music and was sure to attend the festivities at Foggy Hollow. He loved life and lived it to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Idell Rasco Bunton; sister, Robbie Dean Elliott and daughter, Penni Bunton Tate.
Survivors include his wife, Micki Bunton; sister, Barbara Slaton, brother, Paul (Elizabeth) Bunton,
sister, Gloria (William) Fuller and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be, Paul Bunton, Joshua Steapleton, Sloan Bunton, Wes Elliott, Charlie Ridgeway and
Don Irwin, Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Ridgeway and Rick Neal.
The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the ICU nurses and staff at Riverview Regional Medical Center, Dr. K.J. Shah and Dr. B.J. Patel.
