Two-Vehicle Accident Takes Life Of Crossville Teen

BOAZ-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle traffic accident that has taken the life of a 17-year-old teen. The accident took place near Boaz on January 1:

“A two-vehicle crash at approximately 9:15 p.m. Sunday, January. 1, has claimed the life of a Crossville teen.

The 17-year-old was fatally injured when the 2020 Dodge Charger the teen was driving collided with a 2011 Dodge Ram, driven by Julian Garcia, 28, of Guntersville.

After the initial impact both vehicles left the roadway, struck a ditch, and caught fire. The juvenile was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash, which occurred on Alabama 168 near the 15 mile marker, approximately five miles east of Boaz, in Marshall County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
