PRICEVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports the death of a Decatur woman from injuries she received in a tw-vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday, October 20:
“A two-vehicle crash at 12:05 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, has claimed the life of a Decatur woman.
Ashley Rene Hagood, 32, was seriously injured when the 2013 Nissan Altima, which she was driving, crossed the centerline and collided with a 2012 Ford Fusion. Hagood was transported to Huntsville Hospital where she died at 4:40 p.m. on Oct. 20.
An infant child in Hagood’s vehicle was transported to Huntsville Hospital for observation. The driver of the Ford Fusion, and two passengers in her vehicle were transported to Huntsville Hospital.
The crash occurred on East Upper River Road one mile east of Priceville. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
