Two-Vehicle Accident Near Guntersville Takes The Life Of One Person

GUNTERSVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident that has taken the life of one person and sent another person to hospital:

“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3 p.m. Thursday, March 23, has claimed the life of a Grant man. 

Eugene Hall, 91, was critically injured when the 2005 Buick Lesabre that he was driving was struck by a 2006 Honda Accord driven by an 18-year-old.  Hall, who was not using his seat belt at the time of crash, was injured and transported to Marshall Medical North Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

 The teen was also injured and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. 

The crash occurred on U.S. 431 near New Hope Highway, approximately eight miles north of Guntersville, in Marshall County. 

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
