DEKALB COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle has taken the life of an Albertville man:
“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at 3:01 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, has claimed the life of an Albertville man.
Calvin L. Davis, 56, was fatally injured when the 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 motorcycle that he was operating struck the 2020 Freightliner M2 tractor-trailer driven by Angela N. Kelley, 48, of Altoona. Davis was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 75 near Dogwood Drive, within the Ider city limits, in Dekalb County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
