LIMESTONE COUNTY-Bridget Yvonne Williams, 42 of Athens was killed in a two-vehicle crash that occurred on Monday, August 1 around 9 A.M. The accident happened on John Road just outside of Athens.
Williams was killed when the 2003 Chevrolet in which she was a passenger was hit by a 2015 Ford pickup. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured. An unlicensed minor was driving the Chevrolet and was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the accident.
