MARSHALL COUNTY – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident near Guntersville that has taken the life of two teens:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. Thursday, November10, has claimed the lives of two juveniles.
The 18-year-old driver and an 18-year-old passenger were both fatally injured when the 2013 Nissan Rogue that the youth was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver and the passenger were not using seat belts at the time of the crash and were both pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Merrill Mountain Road, approximately 10 miles north of Guntersville, in Marshall County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
