FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department issued a press release regarding the arrest of two suspects that have been charged with Assault in the second degree:
“On November 12, 2021, officers responded to the area of Indiana Avenue to a shot fired call. Upon arrival a

male was located bleeding from the head. After further investigation it was determined that he was hit several times in the head with a firearm.
During the beating the firearm discharged. No one was struck with the bullet. According to the victim two males had jumped him. The victim described the suspects and they were stopped in Sheffield. Both suspects, Brandon Allison and Jordan Nelson, both of Tuscumbia, were transported back to Florence and later charged with Assault 2nd degree. Both have been released on $2,500 bond. “
