Two Suspects Arrested In Morgan County On Felony Drug Charges

  DECATUR-The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department issued a press release concerning the arrest of two suspects on various felony drug charges:

“On Saturday, November 12th, 2022, Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit and the FBI North Alabama Safe Streets Task Force were assisted by DEA Task Force Officers in the execution of search warrants at two residences in the 1500-block of Carridale St SW in Decatur. The search warrants were the result of an investigation involving a methamphetamine drug trafficking organization.
During the execution of those search warrants, Agents recovered approximately 3 pounds of methamphetamine.
After the execution of the warrants, Agents arrested:

Keila Sanchez Diaz

Victor Fernando Nava, 34 of Decatur Charged with:
▪️13A-12-231 – Dangerous Drugs-Drug Trafficking – Methamphetamine
Bond: $500,000.00
▪️No Bond pending Hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Keila Sanchez Diaz, 37 of Decatur, charged with:
▪️13A-12-231 – Dangerous Drugs-Drug Trafficking – Methamphetamine
Bond: $250,000.00
Both subjects were transported to and booked in the Morgan County Jail.
