Rodney Shane Ivey
FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department has made an arrest in the robbery and home invasion that took place on Monday, January 19th. Here is how the Florence Police describe the events leading up to the arrest of two men:
“Two men arrested in East Florence home invasion, Rodney Shane Ivey, 23 of Florence, and Jacarro Sanchez Cross, 20, of Florence were arrested and charged with Robbery 1st degree in connection with a Robbery at a residence located on North Broadway

Street which occurred on January 19, 2015. Reports indicate the two are
accused of entering a home on North Broadway Street and presenting a gun. The owner of the home stated that a struggle occurred over the weapon resulting in a round being fired inside the home. It is believed that Ivey was struck by the bullet during the struggle and the two fled the home. Both Ivey and Cross are being held in the LCDC.
