MUSCLE SHOALS-On Wednesday, April 29 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued a statement concerning the deaths of two individuals that occurred Tuesday evening in a single-vehicle accident near Muscle Shoals:
“A single vehicle crash at 7:00 p.m., April 28, has claimed the life of two Cincinnati, Ohio residents.. The driver and passenger of a 2008 Ford Focus were killed when their vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree on the driver’s side. Excessive speed was a factor in the crash.
The crash occurred on AL.184 in Colbert County approximately 3 miles east of Muscle Shoals. Both occupants of the vehicle were pronounced dead on the scene. The names of the victims will not be released until the next of kin are notified.
No further information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue the investigation.”
