SHEFFIELD-Colbert County Sheriff Eric Balentine reports an arrest of two persons on an active search warrant in Sheffield:
“On July 19th agents with Colbert County Drug Task Force, along with assistance from Sheffield PD, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of SW 13th avenue in Sheffield.
While conducting search, agents located 40 grams of methamphetamine, a 22 caliber rifle, and $388 in US currency.
Benny Ray Bass, 54, of Sheffield, and Kerri Elaine Giles, 48, also of Sheffield, were arrested for Drug Trafficking. Both subjects were transported to the Colbert County Jail and are being held without bond at this time.”
