Two Arrested On Fugitive Warrants In Athens

ATHENS-Two suspects have been arrested and remain in jail on fugitive from justice warrants.  Here is a statement regarding the arrests by Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson:

“On November 29, 2015 Jennifer Marie Risley was arrested yesterday for being a fugitive from justice.  Risley was arrested at the Country Hearth Inn after Officer Kelly Fussell checked warrants on her. Carroll County GA had 3 warrants for identity fraud on Risley. Risley was booked at the police department and transferred to the county jail.

Saturday afternoon Sgt. Greg Lott stopped a vehicle on US 72 for a traffic violation. Sgt. Lott checked warrants on the driver of the vehicle Steven Keith Davis. Davis was wanted in Bay County FL for burglary to an occupied dwelling with a gun and trafficking in stolen property. Davis was booked at the police department and transferred to the county jail. ”
