James Michael Fountain
FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department have made two arrests in a rash of burglaries that occurred overnight. Here is how the Florence Police describe the events leading up to the arrests:
“Two In Custody Following Overnight Burglary Spree; Florence Police have arrested James Michael Fountain, 20, of Florence and a juvenile after multiple vehicles were burglarized in the Lakeside Highlands community overnight. Florence Police K9 Officer Wes Gargis spotted two suspicious males in the area while taking reports on Lakeside Drive. While speaking with the two, both fled on foot. Fountain was apprehended and the juvenile was located a short time later. Both are charged with 19 counts of Burglary to a Vehicle and multiple counts of theft. Fountain was booked into the LCDC, while the juvenile was released to the Juvenile Authorities.
Fountain was also charged with escape and gun violations related to this case”
