Two Arrested Charged With Theft 1st Degree For Theft At O’Neal Bridge

FLORENCE-The Florence Police Department released a statement on the arrest of two suspects on Wednesday, January 4 concerning the theft at O’Neal Bridge:

“Kerri Thornton and Andrew Miller were arrested yesterday on charges of Theft 1st.

The two are charged following items being stolen from the construction area near O’Neal bridge.

In short, they are accused of helping themselves to a forklift

and using it to load large amounts of steel, which they in turn attempted to scrap at a local scrap yard.

The two were caught after patrol officers noticed a suspicious vehicle at the same construction staging area.

It is believed that the two were attempting to steal again only to be thwarted by observant officers.”
