TVHS Historic Florence Trolley Tours

Mountain-Tom-Clark-signFLORENCE– On Saturday, 21 May, The Tennessee Valley Historical Society will present “Riding With Outlaws” a  trolley tour of downtown sites associated with the notorious outlaw  Mountain Tom Clark and other prominent citizens of Florence during the 19th century.  The tour will be conducted by Lee Freeman, local historian and will depart from the Florence Lauderdale Tourism Center in McFarland Park at 11:00 AM . The tour  lasts approximately one hour. Please arrive at the tourism center at 10:30 for registration, refreshments and a tour introduction.
General: $15, Seniors/students:$10, children small enough to sit in their parent’s laps ride free.
All proceeds are used to provide scholarships to local students who plan to study history at UNA.
